Staying at the Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel was delightful overall. The charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast options stood out. However, the air conditioning in my room struggled to keep up, which could be challenging during hot days. The location is fantastic for exploring Ortigia.

We had a wonderful stay here with our four kids. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the facilities were pristine. My favorite part was the shuttle service to the gorgeous beaches. it made our days even more magical. The breakfast spread was also unforgettable, with a wonderful variety, including fresh fruits and pastries.

In my wife’s opinion, a kids’ play area would be great.

This hotel was a proper fit for a city break in Syracuse, providing great value for money. The breakfast featuring local pastries was truly delightful. If you arrive by car, get there early to secure parking at the nearby facility.

Syracuse was an absolute culinary paradise! The breakfast featuring ricotta-filled cannoli was a highlight, truly a piece of heaven. And let's not forget the charming rooftop space with a hot tub—nothing beats soaking up the sun with a view of the sea! Also, the staff's warmth made us feel like family.

While I loved the vibe, I felt a bit let down by the standard room for 399 Euro. The compact space and funky water odor didn't match the splurge. Our Airbnb across town was just as cozy for way less! Perhaps the premium rooms are where the luxe is at.
